WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW





In Texas, mold assessors must be licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). LPSC provide mold inspections to commercial property and residential homes.


The Work shall comply with all applicable Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) as stated in the MARAR rules and applicable federal and local rules and regulations.

The underlying cause of moisture and subsequently the cause of the mold shall be identified and fixed prior to the mold remediation activities. A written statement indicating the moisture intrusion problem has been corrected, shall be provided to the Owner.

Visual Signs: Pictures to your left show clues of what mold looks like. Cottony, fuzzy, velvety or slimy patches on walls, ceilings or fabric are all visual clues.

Smell: A strong, musty, or rotting odor is often the first sign, even when the mold is hidden/not visable.

Physical Symptoms: Feeling sick, unexpected allergy flare-ups (sneezing, coughing, red eyes, skin rashes).
